Current research areas:
- Growth regulators in blueberry production: gibberellic acid for fruit set
and freeze rescue, Dormex for enhanced leaf development and fruiting, ethephon
for bloom delay.
- Use of pole and post peelings for southern highbush blueberry production
in non-spodic soils.
- Development of moderate chilling, non-melting flesh, fresh market peaches
(cooperative project at Attapulgus, GA with University of Florida and USDA). - Control of Pierce's Disease in grapes with imidacloprid insecticide.
