Dr. Boyhan is an Extension Horticulturist-Vegetables with a 75% extension appointment and 25% research. Dr. Boyhan's extension responsibilities are with Vidalia onions, commercial organic vegetable production, cucurbits, and greenhouse vegetable production.
Dr. Boyhan's research interests include cultural practices and cultivar evaluation of Vidalia onions. In addition, he is interested in developing commercially viable organic production systems. Finally, he is also interested in cucurbit cultivar and germplasm evaluation and developing new pumpkin cultivars.
